Privacy Policy
CLEAR is a business-development platform with an AI assistant inside it. To run your pipeline, capture leads, draft follow-ups, and book meetings on your behalf, CLEAR handles data from you and the services you connect. This policy explains what we collect, why, what we do with it, and the controls you have.
1. Who we are
"CLEAR," "we," "us," and "our" refer to CLEAR, the operator of clearbd.space and the CLEAR application. If you have questions about this policy or want to exercise any of the rights below, email privacy@clearbd.space.
2. What we collect
We collect the minimum data needed to operate CLEAR for you.
Account data
- Name, email, password hash, and team / workspace identifiers
- Billing details, processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers
Integration data
When you connect a third-party service (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Telegram, Fireflies, HubSpot, Calendly, Notion, Slack, Asana, ClickUp, Linear, GitHub, Outlook, n8n, or others), CLEAR receives the data needed to perform the actions you ask for: emails, calendar events, contacts, call transcripts, deal records, documents, chat messages, files, and the OAuth tokens that grant access.
You control which integrations to connect and you can disconnect them at any time from your CLEAR settings.
Conversation data
Every prompt you send to your CLEAR assistant, every action it executes, and every file or piece of context it loads is stored so the assistant can recall it and so you can audit it.
Usage data
Standard product analytics: pages and features used, request volume, device and browser type, IP-derived region, and error logs. We use this to keep the product running and improve it.
3. How we use your data
- To operate the assistant: read, draft, send, schedule, update, and link the items you ask it to handle
- To remember clients, decisions, and context so you don't have to repeat yourself
- To run automations and recurring workflows you create
- To bill, authenticate, prevent fraud, and provide support
- To improve the product through aggregated, anonymized analytics
We do not use your data to train any AI model, neither ours nor third-party model providers'. Where we use external language model APIs to power the assistant, those vendors are contractually prohibited from training on your prompts and outputs.
4. Private mode
For sensitive deals, you can run any project in Private mode:
- Conversations and memory are encrypted at rest, isolated per project
- Per-request safety gating: when the assistant runs in read-only contexts, write-capable tools are not exposed to the model
- Never used for training, analytics, or shared with other workspaces
5. How we share data
We share data only when one of the following applies:
- With the third-party services you connect, to perform the actions you ask the assistant to take
- With service providers who help us run the product (hosting, error tracking, payment processing, email delivery), under contracts that bind them to confidentiality and use restrictions
- With your teammates in the same workspace, when you grant them access
- To comply with law, if compelled by valid legal process. We will notify you unless we are legally prohibited
- In a merger or acquisition, in which case the new entity inherits this policy
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
6. White-label and your end users
If you run CLEAR under your own brand (white-label) for your clients, you are the controller of your end users' data and we are the processor. Your customers' data stays in your workspace.
7. Data retention
- Account and integration data: retained for the life of your account
- Conversation history and memory: retained until you delete it
- Backups: standard backups for up to 30 days after deletion, then purged
- Logs (request, security, error): up to 12 months
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we must retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons.
8. Security
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256)
- Per-project isolation for Private mode workspaces
- Least-privilege access; integration tokens stored encrypted
- Per-request safety gating on assistant tool access
- Regular dependency scanning and security review
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, email security@clearbd.space immediately.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data (subject to legal retention)
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority
Exercise any of these by emailing privacy@clearbd.space. We respond within 30 days.
10. International transfers
CLEAR is operated from the United States. If you access CLEAR from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. We use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where required by law.
11. Children
CLEAR is built for business use and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Cookies and tracking
clearbd.space uses a small number of first-party cookies for authentication and session management. We use a privacy-respecting analytics provider that does not fingerprint or cross-site track. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes we'll notify you in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
